Mic check, MIC CHECK, 1,2...1,2,3!

Hey hey! I hope everyone is doing well, I'm seriously suffering in the heat. My house was always between 67-69 degrees because that's normal for me, I lived in the PNW for the last 3.5 years. People in AZ keep their AC at 80 degrees, yeah 80! If you're lucky people keep it at 78 or 79 degrees. They're crazy, this heat is crazy. It's so hot the kids wake up covered in sweat at 7 freaking AM. My kids are sleepers, they sleep anywhere between 12-14 hours a night but since we've been in AZ they've been sleeping maybe 9 hours a night. Naturally my kids are complete weenies due to the lack of sleep. The only places that seem cool are grocery stores and clothing shops, if you see a lady in the patio furniture area of the local Wal Mart wearing her bikini with her pack and play set up and her two kids having lunch... don't judge. That will be me and my family, hahah! Turn a blind eye.

We're supposed to be closing on our house before the 21st of the month. I hope it's sooner. I'm ready to be in my own space, decorate our new house, and start this new chaper of my life. I need to find some contractors in the area, get some estimates on adding in a new bathroom in the basement. I'm also really excited about buying new couches! Our old ones are so tacky, tey're forest freen with these awful floral throw pillows. We've had covers on them for several years and the couches are about 13 years old. My parents bought them brand new for me when I had moved out of their house. So these are the coucehs I have been eyeing, what do you think?



This one is pretty cheap and not bad.



I love this style, I think it's my favorite type.
