HOUSE HUNTING

When did it get so hard to find a home? I understand we am searching for a house in a vacation destination mecca, but come on! We need to be moved in by June 1st and it is creeping up on us, I'm a not totally stressed but add Jason being a complete spastic mess to this concoction of feelings and KABLAMO, emotional chaos. It really looks like we will end up renting a home for now as the buying options are pretty slim, you either buy a home built in the 80's that has been completely remodeled or you build a house. Obviously, we're looking for a larger home to fit our ever expanding family and most of the homes in the city are two bedrooms, three bedrooms at best. We need at least four bedrooms, that's what we have now.

This is what our home looks like now:

This home in LHC is approximately $700 more monthly and has less square footage:

I have been looking religiously but I've found nothing that would be MY home, you know...the one. Well, before the Lake Havasu Project was cleared I had found the one... it was perfect. It was 2700 square feet, had a pool, a huge yard, plenty of garage space, amazing neighborhood, beautiful patios, etc... it was also in our price range. However we couldn't put in an offer as things we're set in stone just yet. Guess what, three days after someone else put an offer in on that house AND it was accepted, the green light was on for the Lake Havasu Project. That house will forever be the one that got away. Boo hoo, enough about that.  Onward, I'd better get to finding a home.
