Alexis had lost her top tooth yesterday, she was excited (it's her 3rd tooth she has lost). Alexis is the type that waits for things, she wiggled her tooth but never, in a million-trillion years, would she pull it out. Even though all she needed was a twist or a teensy pull for over a week. It looked silly all last week because it was half way out and it looked like she had a snaggle tooth. I'm not going to lie, I laughed at her expense several times. She asked me if the tooth fairy was real. I told her to Google it. That is always my answer when I don't feel like explaining things. Here is a video, DO NOT LET YOUR SMALLER CHILDREN SEE THIS. I would hate to ruin whatever it is your children believe in. Sorry for the crappy quality, it's cloudy and rainy outside and I have no lights on because my daughter is a environmental nazi, she goes on and on about greenhouse gasses and its really boring. I swear, I have the weirdest 6 year old ever.
P.S. I think I fessed up about the Easter Bunny when she was four, we went the God route instead.
I love your kid. Tell her to use Bing next time.
ReplyDeleteShe sure is a breed of her own, isn't she?!
ReplyDeleteyou so know she wanted to cry. lol poor thing. so are you still going to give her money and what not?
ReplyDeleteThis is why I love your kid! She is adorable. :0)
ReplyDeleteShe said she thought it was the end if dollars and treats for teeth. Once we discussed that she would still get the prizes she was ok.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome, Sabrina. It's fascinating to see those thought processes while she works out her sense of reality.
ReplyDeleteVisiting and following from the This for That linky. Feel free to visit my blog at http://www.freebiespot.net
ReplyDeleteYour daughter sounds awesome! What a character. :)
I think it's great that we can now tell our kids to Google it :) Too bad my Mom couldn't do that when she was little...she remained clueless for way too long!
ReplyDeleteWanted to thank you for offering to put up the This for That button on your site. I'm going to work on turning that graphic into a button ASAP :)
Thanks so much!
Steph

Hey :) I'm not good with layouts...what do you need? Maybe I can find someone if I know what you're looking for! I really, really wish I knew how to do a lot of stuff with html...I usually look up tutorials for stuff and then struggle through it, but you can't do that for everything.

Hi, I'm stopping in from This or That, I'm sorry I can't help with your layout. But, I'm already a follower, and I now follow you on twitter and have your button on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI found you through This or That and think your layout looks great! (I'm new to all of this and learning myself, btw) ♥ Michelle
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow- following you back!
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI love the video, she is precious. I love her laugh! I really love how you let her make up her own mind about things and let her decide what she wants to believe in, I think more parents need to be like that with their kids. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is SOOOOOO cute!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, she's hysterical. She's smart as a whip.
ReplyDeleteLOL my 7 yr old daughter is like that. last yr she asked me if the easter bunny was really someone dressed in a costume. she thanked us for the candy.. LOL can't put hardly anything past her, but she does still believe in the toothfairy, and santa claus.. hasn't questioned them yet.
