Pet rant.

FYI I'm still searching for a cute layout. I'm trying to learn how to make my own layout. In the following days the look of this blog will change... a lot. So you'll have to excuse the page change every time you reload or come visit.

Today we took our dog, Duke, to the vet. He needed some vaccinations and we got him some doggy sedatives. Hopefully that will easy the road trip to NY and his crazy anxiety while we're in Arizona. I am not an animal person. I don't hate pets I just tolorate them. I think people who treat their animals like they're humans are retarded. In my opinion dogs do not belong on any furniture, not even your bed, and I think they should be well behaved. I also think people who take their dogs into supermarkets and other stores should be put in their place. The only animals that need to be in places of business are working dogs. Your designer dog is NOT a working dog, yeah, it's cute but only cute at your house. I want to barf when I see people putting their dogs in the basket where I sit my child when I shop. Ok, enough with the animal rant. I'm missing the point of what I was originally typing about. I'm hoping that these sedatives will keep my dog mellow and not upset that we're leaving him in strange places while we're out and about in Arizona. I am required, as a good pet owner, to make sure my dog is safe and cared for just as I would my children. I will not put my dog in a situation where I know he will be uncomfortable. I hate to admit, I love that furball and he is a part of our family. On the same hand... he is still just a dog. A dog is a pet. End of story.
