I'm a slacker, so what?

My mom was in town visiting last week, I had to play the role of tour guide. We bought a new car, a Subaru WRX, and school started last week too. Now we're getting in to activities like figure skating and swimming. I had visions of laying around the house, watching Dexter or anything thing else on Netflix, solo while Jessa was napping and older kids in school. Ha. Boy, was I wrong. I'm hoping that once we get into a routine things will simmer down and be less chaotic.

Trenton loves school and swimming. He has made friends in both the neighborhood and at school. He is such a friendly boy. He also has the BEST sense of humor. Seriously, this kid cracks me up. A lot of it comes with age, being three and a half is a funny time in general but I'm telling you, Trenton is a hoot. A real comedian. I love this little boy!

Alexis likes school but she is way too caught up in her fashion world and social life. The other day she looked like she just walked off the set from a Madonna video. She is so responsible and smart, I'm a proud mama! Today is her first spelling test, I hope she does okay!

Jessa is a BEAST. This kid is very large for her age. My other two were big babies but not as big as this baby girl. Jessa has graduated from 12 month clothing to 18 month clothing. She is super long. When you hold her its like a mess of arms and legs flailing everywhere. Hahah. The other kids were about 3 months bigger than they 'should' shave been. Jessa is 9 months ahead of herself, size wise according to clothing and charts. Jessa is currently about 33 inches and about 25 pounds. Chad and I are big people so I'm not worried about her size or anything. With any luck she'll be a Glamazon like her mama!

Chad is good and I'm good too! Things are moving along so quickly during the week that when we do see each other it's a hi-bye deal. Chad is taking time off in November to stay home with the kids while I go to Florida for my birthday. I'm excited about this solo trip, a week for meeeee! I miss my Sistor and I need to reconnect. I'm ready to make nice and deal with all the bullshit that's happened in the last few years. I'm really looking forward to the holidays this year, Thanksgiving with my Military family is always a favorite and Christmas is going to be awesome! Along with the Military family my Sistor and nephew are going to be here, I'm pumped. AND Hopefully this year my PLP Tiffany will have her baby by Christmas. She is currently in the process of adopting and the other day she was officially dubbed "Paper Pregnant." Hopefully a birth mother chooses her and her husband quickly, these two have been waiting 4 years for their family to start!

The big stuff is about to happen, the bathroom installation and the kitchen remodel. We're also going to redo the foyer floor, I hate the ugly hunter green laminate flooring. I would like actual ceramic tile. I'm hoping to start all of this this in October when my dad visits.

Whew, that was a long one! Bye!

  1. Busy time. Addy is in soccer, wants to do dance and swimming again. She did bam-bam baseball this summer. Brady is at the age he can only do swimming and gets upset seeing Addy do it all. Guess next year will be busier. Not thinking of holidays yet, thinking of FOOTBALL every time I can watch :)
