700 miles to go!

This roadtrip was going well until the AC took a crap on us in Texas. It was SO hot until we got into Kansas and it improved a little. We've decided it woud take too much time to order a compressor in a random city so we will be doing that once we get to NY. Speaking of NY we're having issues with the home lender right now, our house is seriously in limbo. Are we getting the house... are we not?! I wish I knew. Apparently the appraisal is lower than our loan. You see we have the closing costs added into our loan and because our house is appraised at the correct price we have an issue. So say the house is $500,000 and closing cost is at $15,000 the total loan would be $515,000 with the type of loan we have. No say the house is appraised at $500,000, perfect. Well the bank only wants to give us the loan amount for what the house is worth. W here do you get $15,000 cash?? That is where we currently stand. We are pulling every string we have to come up with closing. If we can't, I suppose we won't get the house. I'm just not sure, trying to communicate wuth 2 realtors and a lender while driving across country is a pain in the ass. Hopefully everything works out, I already had my mail forwarded tp the new address PLUS today I found out that the guy who sold us the house is moving to Everett, WA. That is the area we just moved from. Funny.

Back to more roadtrip crap, we stopped in Kansas City to see friends yesterday, we stayed the night and just talked and ran around a bit. The boys played Rockband (retarded!) and Chad was singing, it was pretty funny. Chad is tone deaf, no doubt. We left early this morning and continued on our journey, today sucked. Trenton was a titty baby all day long. This is what he looked like most of the day:

At one point I was throwing ice at him trying to get it in his mouth, Chad said to stop. Apparently people frown upon parents who throw things at small children's heads, who knew?

While we we're in Texas at some auto parts place I took a picture of Jessa and I. I look PRETTY. Wow. I'm wearing a yellow camisole and I look naked, my hair is a mess, my makeup had melted off. However I did put Jessa in the handy-dandy sling and I did take a picture, my misfortune never gets old.

And NO, we're not listening to NWA wit the kids in the car. *giggle*

  1. ALWAYS have the seller eat the closing costs... or else no deal.

  2. You do look pretty!

I understand lender issues. We had them! We totally didn't think we'd get our home...they kept asking for more paperwork and giving us the runaround...it's nothing but stress and chodes. Good luck!
