Puzzle rings, beware!

I had been anxiously awaiting a gift, a right hand ring, from my BFF the last few days and it arrived Saturday. I was so excited, I ripped open the package and looked at the ring for a minute and realized it was a puzzle ring. ALRIGHT! So I start to take it apart and say outloud "No way, if I take it apart I will never get it back together." Chad asks to take a look at it and disassembles it. It's now in four pieces that are connected, sort of like a mini magicians rings set. This is not a classic puzzle ring, it is an ACTUAL brainteaser ring. To make a long story short, Chad cannot get it back toegther. I had the ring for maybe a minute before it was taken apart. I was bummed because I headed out and I wanted to show off my new ring to my friends. No. I had to leave my new ring behind so Chad could look up tutorials online (thank you YouTube) to try and get it back together. I went to the party without my new bling. Fast forward about 4 hours. I come home to nd get everyone settled in and I ask Chad about my ring. He said he solved it and accidently knocked it off the counter! Hahahaha. Round two! He had to look up the video again and after a few minutes he solved it and it was on my pretty little finger! It fits and looks nice, it's sort of thick (thicker than my wedding set) but it works. I told the BFF several weeks ago I wanted a right hand ring and the only stipulation was that it couldn't turn my finger green. She had been planning a surprise for me and even my husband was in cahoots with her. Unfortunatly she is a horrible liar (so is my husband) and her surprise was ruined by me. I suck sometimes. I pick up on the most subtle things and obsess, I'm a freak like that.

Anyways, I vow to never take the ring apart. That thing is WAY too hard to put back together. I took it off today and gently placed it on my ring holder, I was scared it was going to come undone! The thing was pinching me, ye-ouch.
